Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same. ~ Flavia Weedn

Halloween in France

Halloween in France is kind of anti-climatic really. It is just not a holiday the French understand, and so we have decided to give up on it over here for awhile anyway... for example, we had so-called trick-or-treaters knock on our door at 10am and they weren't even dressed up...ug! The kids here think its just a good way to get some free candy and the parents are not into getting them costumes or anything. When the girls are older, I think Charly and I will invent some fun over here and start having huge costume/Halloween parties each year, but for now, we give up!

I haven't been on here in forever. It always takes my breath away when I do come. Your girls are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Nothing surprising seeing their mommy and daddy. Loved all the pics. And count me in on the halloween deal. It does suck here but that sounds like a great idea!

Merry Christmas 2008!

Happy Holidays!
